Dear Family & Friends,

​

We’re getting married and we’d like to invite you, our close friends and family, to join us for the celebrations.

​

Coming from opposite ends of the planet, and intent on including as many of you as possible, it was important to us that the location allow us to both throw a party and spend some down time with everyone willing to make the journey. Fortunately, we found that location in Italy, a country which is home to some of our fondest memories and with a culture suiting the occasion. Italy is also the perfect location for the Australian, the Dutch, and all other contingents to get to know each other with nobody assuming the role of host or tourist.

To clarify:

Venue: Novanta 90

Village: Borgo di Gello

Region: Bibbiena (named for the largest nearby village)

Province: Arrezzo (named for the largest nearby city)

The state, as you’ll know, is Tuscany.

The specifics of the celebrations are yet to be finalised. However the celebrations will proceed roughly as follows:

Friday:        welcome drinks

Saturday:   wedding

Sunday:      river lunch 

Monday:    brunch - departure

...we understand that this isn’t your traditional wedding arrangement. If you feel any of the requests are too steep, or that work/time constraints won’t allow for your presence at the wedding, of course we understand. We’ve tried to arrange for something that might allow for as many as possible of our friends and family to attend and we’re both very excited with what we’ve come up with.
